Hi Santino,

I find camomile very soothing.

It is weird, because I have become too sensitive to supplements, herbs, etc. But I don't have any issues with camomile.

How are you doing with tappering off Mirtazapine?

Mindfulness can help with anxiety and listening to nature sounds.

That works for me.

Best wishes, Hopefull.

HI Hopefull

In fact i am doing OK. I am having some days with mild anxiety but overall i am still quite functional. Of course i have some depressed moments here and there as my self confidence has gone down these last months and i really hate myself for letting it be this way but in good days i notice i am able to quickly recover. I had a panic attack 3-4 days ago and my whole day was stressed up but i did not go down. The next day was OK.

As far as Mirtazapine i have gone from 15 to 11mg already doing the syringe stuff... :-) I have some problems with sleep on particular days and some morning anxiety (not always ) but i am accepting and learning to live with it. Of course my life is not like it used to be and i am not really there for my little daughter (2 months old) as much as i should have been. Due to this situation i am keeping a routine going on which include a walk of around 6 km after work which makes me be at home for only 2-3 hours before sleep and my change in nature is understandable at least for my wife and older son. Anyway i am trying my best to be the father that i should be even in these difficult times.

I am hoping to make another jump this weekend but let's see... need to be careful. I have had diarreha for the last two days and not sure is it because of the fruits or mirtazapine WD, also my sleep has not been really at its best. I am doing uninterrupted sleep almost 4 hours and then interrupted another 2-3 hours. I know it is not bad but i guess you know very well that moment when you wake up and realize it is still 2.30 AM and you start ruminating that "oh... thats it, I am not going to sleep anymore until 7 AM..." :-)

In General I am really better than i was 2-3 months ago when days were terrible. I am slowly catching up with a normal baseline. Just need to be careful now but also not slow because i have been using Mirtazapine since middle of May and prolonging the usage will expose the body more to the drug and somehow delay the process of brain returning to it homeostasis. I have a way with words haven't I...?? :-)))

How about you friend??? I wish things go good for you as well.

Let me know.

Hi Guys a short update from me.

I have decided i should reduce a bit my readings on the forums. It drives my anxiety up.

I am continuing my taper though and on Saturday 3rd of September went to 10Mg of Remeron. So far i am doing good. On Saturday night my sleep was not really good and i had a bit of morning anxiety but i managed to go on normally during the day. Anyway Monday evening sleep was quite better and i think i slept around 7.5 hours with 2-3 intervals of waking up for going to the toilet.

The weather here is rainy today and i do not have any anxiety today but still i yearn for that natural feeling of calmness one experience without these meds. I am hoping this taper will go well and i will continue to go lower while checking the symptoms. At these doses my WD problems are mild and not at all compared with the benzo withdrawal early in June and July. I am able to function eventhough i still have problems at my work as my brain currently is like a sponge of water with a low capability of sucking in and processing information. Anyway i am trying to survive and that keeps me alert without being able to enter in the normalcy of working days. My relations with my manager keep being not good and on particular days i ruminate about me and my family future in case i will be forced to drop work.

Let's hope things get better. I am more able to manage my anxiety nowadays finding different ways to cope with it but it is still hard. There is a cloud of depression here and there reminding me time after time that i still have a long way to go.

Wish you all the best on your tapers and may God gives us the pleasure of writing a success story some day.

Good Luck

Santino

Santino -- it's good to read that you're feeling better. If reading the forums here makes things worse, cutting back on your time is an excellent idea.  Take care!

Dear Friends

It is the 6th day after my last cut and i continue to be OK mentally. Anyway i am experiencing symptoms of flu with throat pain, nasal congestion and little high temperature. I am sure it is natural flu as there is a virus going around our city and my wife and son also had it two days ago.

Please let me know in case i take anti flu medicines such as Theraflu with Paracetamol basis is it problematic or not..???

Santino -- Glad to hear that things are continuing to go well for you. The flu-like symptoms could be caused by the CNS adjustments of withdrawal.

Scallywag Thanks for your comment.

Could it also be a normal flu..??? The symptoms are exactly like those of my wife and my son. I think she passed that over to us. I do not think it is from the withdrawal. I think i experienced some kinda withdrawal flu in the begining of my taper but this should be something else.

Dear friends

As on 11th of September i went to 9 Mg of Remeron. As expected i had a bad day yesterday with mild anxiety (on an anxious day i tend also to be a bit depressed) during the whole day, a lot of fatigue and headache especially at the evening. Anyway today i am feeling well. I am currently at work but the relationship with my manager continues to be very tensed and it is a very bad factor not letting me stabilize on the usual routine.

I am starting to dread the workplace but I got no choice currently. Feel very weak to check for something new and in my current job i have a good salary level for my country so it would be difficult to find something similar. I do not know how this will continue but it is important to keep stable for the time being. Distraction is another problem for me. I was having a very good week the previous one so i am hoping good times to come up again.

Give me some hope and opinions guys. I really need some support here especially on my bad days.

Dear Friends

I am sticking to 9Mg of Remeron since 11th of September. I had a somehow bad week the previous one... but this week has been better. Anyway today i woke up with a bit of anxiety and the whole day was tensed and my brain was foggy and tired and i could not concentrate until after lunch.

I do not know how long this thing will last. On my good days i tend to become positive and optimistic but on my bad ones i go back to the first square. My relations at work continue to be bad with my manager. I am wits end right now... there are days when i feel good in the morning and as long as i come to work or have some sort of debate over here my whole days goes bad. I have not had any panic attack but I am really not comfortable. Not sure what to do at this point. I will continue to hold some more days at 9Mg though and then let's see.

Yesterday i had some dried figs at night and most probably the sugar in them has caused this situation today. My thoughts are a bit confusing and almost over the edge today. How unpredictable all this stuff is. You can be good two three days and than bump again.... :-(

I really do not know how am I supposed to be a good parent to my 3 months old daughter when i do not have the force to come to work and face reality every day. I have planned a meeting with a Psychologist this Tuesday or Wednesday and will discuss with him on how to handle my bad days. He is also a psychiatrist and i will tell him what i am doing about the Remeron currently and how i am tapering and take his opinion as well.

This situation sucks.... really... but the good thing is that in 5-10 minutes my weekend will start and i will have the right to feel calm at least for two days... :-)

Wish me luck buddies... i really hope to move forward.

Hi Santino,  it's such a pain to wd from Remeron because it has a delayed effect when you make a cut.  I have found that when I make a cut, I feel the physical symptoms and then either 10days to 2 weeks later I get hit with the anxiety and depression.

HI Friends

When i read your messages it is always like a rope where i can catch up and hold while in this process.

I had a good weekend especially Sunday with normal days of just some low level fatigue and so on. I am holding at 9 Mg and that is good so far with just a few physical blips. Anyway i continue to have situational problems. I am dreading the start of the week and even simple work tasks seems like impossible to me. Not because i am not able to do the work but mainly because of my manager who no matter what i do will find things to take me responsible and put up for a failure. This is leading to low self confidence and low self esteem and I am really thinking whether is it worthy to continue or not...???!!!! :-(((( I do not know how long i can continue like this as i feel this psychological burden is tooo much during this period. I tried to explain 2-3 months ago that i was having problems and she just ignored that. So even if i experience periods of calmness and normality while at work i never know when the thunder will strike... even for stupid things which we have never quarreled about.

At the same time this whole situation keeps me locked at this state and i do not feel eager on looking for another job. I have been in my current position for around 6-7 years now and with my current mental health destroyed by the doctors i do not know what is the best course of action to take. I know that if i would go off now financially would be a very big burden for me and my family but on rest or stress free days i am generally a lot better. I am not sure whether that will continue if i drop work and start having financial difficulties. I really hate the fact that whole my life has come to this situation within a period of 4-5 months.

Can you please advice me...???? I AM CURRENTLY AT A CROSSROAD...

Your situation is one where some kind of coaching or counseling might help.  What resources are available to you through your employer?  Some large companies have referrals to counseling services.

I know that scallywag... and i have had two meetings with a psychoterapist around three months ago and now i am going to meet him tomorrow again.

The thing is that during the weekend i feel quite OK but as soon as the work starts i start feeling depressed because i do not know what the day will bring. On weekends i cut down on smoking as well and I smoke only 5-7 cigarettes but as soon as i go back to work I go to the usual 12-14 per day. Because of my inability to thing clearly on particular days every task becomes sooo difficult. Even when i take the initiative to do things my superior will jump why did you do that... if i do not do it then after some times for sure i will get in trouble, so this gets me confused and anxious at the same time.

I definitely do not want to go up with the Remeron, but on the bad days as today i really get confused whether am I doing the right thing or not. If the things were stable with my work and i would have support around i think this taper would have gone faster and better.

Today for example I am in a very bad day. I have ruminating thoughts, shallow breathing and brain fog. My sister is pushing me to take medical leave but i am not sure whether that is the right choice to do. The medical leave goes fast and when i will be back the same story will start. I really regret that after some good days i still go back to square one on days like today. I am coming to the point of hating my job and being locked in here without any viable option as I have a family to support. Hibari was saying that toxic environments should be avoided at work and I am not sure what can I do right now. I am continuing to stay at 9Mgs of Remeron and my sleep have been somehow OK but it is my mind who is playing the tricks now.

HELP Pleaseee... what would you do friends if you were on my shoes....???

Hey guys

I am down to 8.1Mg of Remeron as on 30 Sept 2016. I am not feeling good anyway but for sure better than in July and August. Anyway time after time I am feeling depressed and do not know to what to attribute it to my Remeron going lower or to my situational factors. I have build up an inexplicable fear of my manager currently and am trying to avoid her as much as possible. There are days when my brain feels fogy and i can not think logically. How much i wished i never entered to this terrible meds world. Anyway i am trying to avoid the forums and the horror stories around and try to distract and concentrate with my life but this seems sooo difficult. Due to the brain fog and memory problems there are moments here at work when i feel really useless.

Last Wednesday i wend to a Therapist who is also a Psychiater and he was saying that 9MG of Mirtazapine are nothing and you can just drop it. I know that all doctors are saying that but very reluctant to go faster with my taper. My situational factors are too much to handle right now adding up such jumps. It is too much for me that since March i have been in a non comfortable zone with my life and not sure how to find the way out... this think is taking to long and making me overtired.

Anyway let's come to the point. I was thinking as i have gone at 8.1 MG maybe i could give it a try to 5Htp... There should be no risk of serotonine syndrome with the low dose of Remeron i am currently in. Please give me some advice guys... Can 5HTP help on this situation??? In case yes how can i go for it...??? What dose and should i take it morning or evening...?? How long should i take it in order not to build some kind of dependency as well...

Waiting desperately for your answers.

All the best

I guess you've read through this?  http://survivingantidepressants.org/index.php?/topic/9933-5-htp-5-hydroxytryptophan-and-l-tryptophan/

It's important to note that - in addition to the risk of serotonin syndrome - 5-htp increases the activity of psych meds, which you probably don't want.

Tapering is a long process, and yes it's very uncomfortable.  You've been reducing your dose fairly frequently.  Instead of messing with 5-htp, how about trying a decent hold?  Just give yourself time to experience some stabilising.  Let your situational issues ease a bit, then when you're clear of all that consider tapering again.

I've just finished an 8 month hold which has made a big difference in my outlook and in my ability to taper again.  Something to consider...

2010  Fluoxetine 20mg.  2011  Escitalopram 20mg.  2013 Tapered badly and destabilised CNS.  Effexor 150mg.

2015 Begin using info at SurvivingAntidepressants.  Cut 10% - bad w/d 2 months, held 1 month.

Micro-tapering: four weekly 0.4% cuts, hold 4 weeks (struggling with symptoms).

8 month hold.

2017 Micro-tapering: four weekly 1% cuts, hold 4 weeks (symptoms almost non-existent).

2020 Still micro-tapering. Just over 2/3 of the way off effexor. Minimal symptoms, - and sleeping well.
Supplements: Fish oil, vitamin C, iron, oat-straw tea, nettle tea.

2023 Now on 7 micro-beads of Effexor. Minimal symptoms but much more time needed between drops.

I was good yesterday... a bit near the edge but other than that worry feeling was normal most of the time. Today eventhough my sleep was not at its best (I had some horror dreams in the morning) my day seems OK. How much i miss that time when i was not scared of how the other day would be for me... :-((( These damn medicines.. I KNOW I KNOW i should be Positive.. :-)

Yesterday evening i went to this Therapist who is also a Psychiatrist. One thing is sure that HE does not believe on the WD components of the AD drugs. He agrees with my decision to go on slow taper because it is my decision but not because that is the normal way. He believes in the tests and studies and the theory more than into the practice of those who have suffered. And he is right in one way that we should live the tapering schedule out of our discussion and concentrate on the psychoterapy component of analysing my anxiety factors. He said that we should go back as early as possible and see where the source of my worries and anxiety comes from. I am not very optimistic about this approach but i think i will give it a shot. Let's see where it goes.

I told him that i would be more interested in having someone to asist me on managing the neural emotions of an "injured" CNS. To learn ways on how to cope with these emotions and to be somehow sure that it is the meds talking and not the mind... but he can not help me on that one. As my dose currently is relatively low at 8.1Mg i think that its effect are going to be more physical than psychological... i can live with pain in my stomach, in my ribs, in my joints... but anxiety and depression are my real enemies. And to think that i never experienced such kind of depression in my life as with these damned meds.... I KNOW I KNOW ... you do not need to repeat it.... i need to distract myself and be positive.. :-)))

I Hope this positive vibe lasts.... :-)

You've got to the core of the issue here Santino.  Dealing historical issues while in w/d can often doesn't work too well because of how neuro-emotions cloud things.  Better to save that sort of work for once you're clear of w/d, and for now focus on managing the w/d itself.

Since most counselors don't get w/d or neuro emotions, you might be better searching out some ideas here.  Many of us have struggled with these, especially anxiety.  I had to build up a real nest of tools in order to start managing it better.  EFT, yoga poses (eg salute to Inner Calm), breathing techniques, and sitting outside on the ground were some of them.

You've probably seen these, but it might be time to read through again.  The second link especially has so much in it that you're bound to find some things which really suit you, and that could help.

HI Karen B

Thanks a lot for your assistance and nice messages.

Anyway i think as my dose goes down i feel more lethargic and there are days when my brain is very foggy and i have a slightly depressed feeling. I have less anxiety but this tired brain is really something i do not want while I work. I am supposed to take a new duty at work managing another team instead of the one i am currently managing. I believe i will be in a better place if we consider the stress level but still what worries me is the inability to think clearly on some particular days. Is this thing related to WD as well..???!!

I am not sure on how the things will unfold for me and i do not know to what to attribute these problems with my brain fog is it WD, Natural Depression or the low dose of Remeron 8,1 mg keeping me sedated. In case it is Remeron up to which level it will continue to be this way..??!!! I am really worried.

Good luck with your healing Karen and thanks again.

Brain Fog is experienced by many in w/d.  It's an insidious symptom as it can really feel like it's 'you' instead of the drug causing you problems.  In general, symptoms are usually less intense when we reduce at at slower rate.  In your shoes, I'd really be looking at a hold to see if that can help you to stabilise before further tapering.

It's true that Remeron can be sedating at lower doses, but I don't know if that eases before one reaches zero or not - another mod may know more.  Frustratingly it's a 'rock and a hard place' situation - even if it is sedating, you still need to reduce carefully in order avoid worsening w/d symptoms.

You're actually doing really well Santino - you are gathering the info, monitoring your progress and reactions, and you are considering options.  It's slow, for sure, but you are finding yourself a more stable pathway out of the mess.

2010  Fluoxetine 20mg.  2011  Escitalopram 20mg.  2013 Tapered badly and destabilised CNS.  Effexor 150mg.

HI KarenB

Your last sentence made my day... :-) I am at work now, concentrating on a report i need to prepare and trying not to get my head concentrated on the symptoms. I know i am doing good and i am trying my horses eventhough i am desperate to go faster. If my situational factors would be better (work, family) i think the taper would have been faster and easier...(compared to the stop of bromazepam and xanax this is a way milder). Anyway i still need info about the sedative proprieties of Remeron at lower levels... I think they tend to be stronger for me at the end of the first week and then diminish. For example today i feel a bit more energetic compared to the Thursday and Friday of the previous week.

Please ask any of the moderators to give me some opinion on this as i need affirmations that what i am doing is right. Before some days i read in the net that no matter what you do go fast or slow if you are hooked you will have symptoms all of your life and that statement scared the **** out of me.... :-) I am not scared of physical symptoms... stomach pain, body pain and so on... what scares me is the anxiety and depression. I have had anxiety before but the depression was introduced to me by the benzo usage and the bloody Remeron.

Thanks a lot for your comment once more and i really wish a speedy recovery and healing for you as well.

Good Luck

Hello Scallywag, Karenb and all

I am somehow managing this whole process but i am not feeling well yet. I know i am continuing to brag about my situational factors but what to do... that is life and we somehow have to face it.

I have a question regarding one of my supplements though. I finished my first batch of Niacine which was a capsule and started another brand two days ago. The new brand is tablet and when i took it for the first time it gave me total flush for like one hour and than it subsided. After that i started to take it on lower dosages of around 100 Mg in the evening and 120 in the Morning. I notice that i have troubles with my stomach and feel nauseous ... i am not sure to what i can attribute such feeling to Niacin or the WD from Remeron or it is because of stress... My stomach has always been delicate as i do not tolerate anti-inflamatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Aspirin and similar. In order to protect the stomach lining i have started to take a low dose of pantoprasole (proton pump inhibitor) every morning in order to protect my stomach.

Can you please offer me your assistance and knowledge on where is this nauseous feeling coming from??? And what is more important should i continue with Niacin or better take a B-Complex. On the meantime i am trying to heat healthy foods with veggies and a lot of fruits to compensate for the lack of vitamins.

Waiting for some answers.... i tend to panic when i feel pain in my stomach because i have had a massive hemorrhage some years ago.

Altostrata...

I finished my batch of Niacine which was a capsule and now started a new batch of it which is a tablet... The first day of morning 500Mg of the new one it gave me a very huge flush which lasted almost 2 hours... so I lowered the dosage. I started to take it 100 Mg in the evening and 120 in the morning. Anyway i started to notice a burning pain in my stomach similar to ulcer pain. IN order to keep it at bay before when i was not taking any antidepressant medication i would take some kind of Pantoprazole to counter that effect. So i started yesterday evening 20Mg of Pantoprasole at night and 20Mg in the morning. I am currently at 8.1Mg of Remeron.

Please advice me on what should I do...?? I was not sure whether the pain in my stomach was because of WD, new Niacin batch or just anxiety and stress so thought it appropriate to take measures. I do not tolerate well antiinflamatory drugs such as ibuprofen and aspirin as i have had a huge Hemorrhage from them some years ago and that's why i thought to give pantoprazole a try.

Tell me what should I do...????? What would be the best course of action at this case.

I am currently taking 500MG  magnesium and 100Mg Niacin at night, a D vitamine 1000 and Fish Oil  and 120Mg Niacin in the morning. I take my 8.1Mg of Remeron every night at 9 Pm.

Waiting for your answer...

Thanks for your assistance, anyway i am in a crossroad right now and do not know what to do...

Should i continue with the Niacine and add a PPI like omeprazole at low dose for protection or just stop Niacine..???

I would be glad if you offered your opinion.

Hi Santino. Please don't add a PPI. It will just complicate matters , give more side effects and be another drug to taper off.  A PPI doesn't protect your stomach - quite the reverse, in fact. It adds to the problems as it has a rebound effect . I  have just seen that you are already on it. How long have you been taking it ? Can you add that to your signature please?  It will need tapering.

If you want advice I would stop the Niacin and continue gently tapering when you have stabilized. Niacin can be problematic in withdrawal. The " flush " effect alone can be enough to send you into a wave. It's very intense and not necessarily helpful in withdrawal.

As has been said previously you are doing well . You only cut 10 days ago . Maybe you need to hold for a few weeks just to let any changes accumulate and let the body and brain acclimatize.  Sometimes , it is good just to allow  a "catching up" period to happen between cuts.

Treat yourself gently in the meantime.

HI AliG

Thanks for your assistance buddy. I am not currently into a PPI... i have taken it before like 1-2 years ago but i just started it yesterday evening due to the stomach pain. As my stomach is sensitive ( i had a huge hemorrhage episode some years ago due to Ibuprofen) and i thought the new Niacin brand affected my stomach i thought to start a PPI at a low dose every morning for protection for like 14 days. But now i am scared whether this is the right thing to do or not...

I have been taking the other Niacin brand which did not give me such problems for around 2-3 months and if i stop it now I might have WD effects from that as well. What do you think it is the best approach..??? Should i stop PPI and wait out for my stomach pain to subside by itself but this means i will have to drop Niacin as well if that is the source of my problem.

Nowadays the weather is cold around here and i feel my feet cold as well which is a sign that my stomach pain could also be related to rain and cold temperature. Anyway this morning due to all this type of thinking I almost entered into a wave. Right now i am calmer and more logical but I am still undecided on what to do...

In order to protect the stomach lining i have started to take a low dose of pantoprasole (proton pump inhibitor) every morning in order to protect my stomach.

I thought from what you said here that you had started taking it regularly. If you haven't then no problem - I would stop. They will do you no good in the long term. As I said it will only add to your problems and then you will need to taper off.

http://survivingantidepressants.org/index.php?/topic/2533-that-acid-reflux-pill-may-be-causing-your-health-problems/

I doubt you will have issues stopping a supplement such as Niacin. It shouldn't be problematic.

I would stop the PPI and the Niacin.

I would give it some time for your body to heal. It has been through a lot and needs some nutrition, exercise, sunlight , sleep, meditation and positive thinking. Try to remain calm and keep things simple. Maybe read through Symptoms and Self Care again. It has a wealth of information on non - drug coping skills/ techniques and strategies.

If you can turn to those methods of self care instead of looking for relief in a pill, then you can get and stay healthy for life. That is what you should be aiming for in my opinion.

Santino, why do you have to take niacin?

Niacin can be irritating to the stomach. If you think it makes you sick, it makes a lot more sense to stop it rather than add omeprazole so you can take a supplement you probably don't need. If you stop it and the symptoms stop, you'll know it probably was the niacin causing them.

It seems to me a lot of your problems are from the stress and anxiety you feel at your job. You need to talk to a counselor about that, not about tapering or the effects of psychiatric drugs on the nervous system (of which they'll know nothing).

This is not medical advice. Discuss any decisions about your medical care with a knowledgeable medical practitioner.

You are very right. I understand that the main culprit for my situation is the work life and somehow the medication has contributed more to me coming down in terms of confidence level and self esteem. This is continuously causing unpleasant situations and my recovery sets back. Anyway i am still sticking to my schedule of tapering with cuts every 2-3 weeks as long as I can handle them and as long as i have not used Mirtazapine long term.

Today i stopped Niacin, i slept quite well... kinda heavy sleep with just my magnesium and the usual 8.1Mg of Remeron. In the morning I was calm but around 10 o clock i started to ruminate regarding psychosis and how I might get that as it seems i am getting paranoid of meeting my manager. This continued for some time and i could not concentrate on my work until lunch. Currently i feel my brain overworked it is only 2.30 PM and i still have 2 more hours to go. I feel letargic and very very tired.

Are these symptoms of WD??? Are this symptoms from Niacin drop?? Or me taking two days of Omeprazole have caused a higher blood serum level of Mirtazapine which in return manifests itself with such symptoms...???

Hi Altostrata

Thanks for your patience... as responding to every crying soul around here should be a very difficult task.

I am sure you are right... and my problems now are related to both my work as well as the very weak CNS due to tapering. I am really into a tough position. I can not go off work due to my financial situation and staying here it is becoming tough as my manager is not tolerating me at all and some how has shattered my selfconfidence into pieces.  Anyway i have some hope as i was called for a possible place into another department within the company and that thing should be a victory. Anyway i need to see how the things will unfold from here.

At least happy to have a weekend ahead of me. Am driving to my hometown tomorrow due to some personal issues so i think i will have two good days coming.

Wish everybody good luck and thanks for everything.

Santino.    I hope you have a lovely weekend and can just leave all of your problems behind you for at least a couple of days. Try and enjoy the drive and the moment . Turn the music up and switch off your mind for a day or two . :)  You might come back refreshed and rejuvenated !  I hope so.

HI AliG

Thanks a lot for your lovely message.

I did another cut of Remeron on Friday and my trip went quite well. Anytime i drive long distances and am free of stress i do quite normal. OK i have some lingering symptoms here and there at any particular moments when my mind casually focuses on Meds and health situation but in general the trip was perfect. I was feeling normal most of both the days Saturday and Sunday. Came back home yesterday evening and today am at work... not at my very best as usual when the new week starts.I am very much hoping that this change of work position goes through. It is becoming quite tough for me staying at my current position.

Anyway i was sort of expecting today and maybe tomorrow to not be good due to my cut. Normally these are my problematic days 3-5 days after a cut I feel most of the symtpoms, after that things stabilize. Normally during these days my sleep is not at its best, i have headaches, morning anxiety and nausea are at a higher level than usual and as i go lower the apathy that this damn drug creates at the lower levels is something that worries me. I do not really understand to what to attribute the lack of desire for doing things to the Remeron or it is something that is already in me and will not change no matter how i go with the Remeron. Is the tired and foggy brain more a WD symptom or something natural for me..???!!! Why i think it is Remeron WD is that after lunch i almost come back into my natural self and in the evening i am almost back to normal. I see this thing as something telling me that the body does not like this level of Remeron and while eliminates it in the second half of the day i go to my normal self.

Anyway i will try to survive. I hope the apathy levels will start to change when reaching levels of around 3Mg. (Just my wishful thinking anyway... :-))

Thanks once more for the comments every body. Good Luck in your Tapering Trips to every one.
