Recommended Posts

Hi,

I found some information about BDNF [brain-derived neurotrophic factor] that I wanted to share with you: http://www.optimallivingdynamics.com/blog/21-proven-ways-to-increase-your-brains-growth-hormone. It says:

"BDNF protects and repairs your brain cells, increases the growth of new brain cells, and improves learning, memory and mood. In fact, many researchers consider it a natural antidepressant"

I discovered that a lot of what was helping me most were foods and or supplements and or lifestyle habits that increased bdnf. I didn't tolerate any of this stuff early on it's only lately that I've been able to. But now supporting growth hormone in general and bdnf etc has become extremely helpful

Oh I should also say that I can actually feel my brain growing and it's not comfortable and sometimes that renders me inert and horizontal for a while. I've learned to tolerate so-called reactions when they are actually growth spurts and healing pains. Learning discernment on this stuff is a process I have found.

Now that's something I hadn't considered - what our brains feel like when they are in repair / re-growth.

Yesterday I had a bad headache, and had to take a couple of Ibuprofen.......absolutely fine today though. I wondered if the cause was the floor exercises, strain on my shoulders/neck.
