Hey Barb,

I was just thinking, I remember writing on this thread -- back and forth with you -- back in early December when I was at a late night coffee shop.

That's a good memory for me. It was one of the last times I went out. I probably made some bad decisions, having a bit of caffeine with dairy and also some sips of vodka in water. Drinking the coffee, dairy and alcohol were all mistakes -- Though that night was probably the last time I felt normal. Before phase XVXIII of my ordeal which started thereafter.

It's good to remember that night and how, not that long ago, things weren't so bad. With better decision making, they can be that good again.

Anyway, not to hijack the thread, but I wanted to mention it.

Also, I think that there are probably tons of possibilities with NAMI. My experience wasn't entirely bad and the organization I worked with was pretty rigid compared to most others, I'd bet.

Alex

"Well my ship's been split to splinters and it's sinking fast
I'm drowning in the poison, got no future, got no past
But my heart is not weary, it's light and it's free
I've got nothing but affection for all those who sailed with me.

Everybody's moving, if they ain't already there
Everybody's got to move somewhere
Stick with me baby, stick with me anyhow
Things should start to get interesting right about now."

I remember that well, Alex! It felt like I was sitting in the coffee shop with you. :)

FYI, Beyond Meds today featured Steven Morgan's work and a segment on NPR. I'll put link, but please edit or relocate if inappropriate here! I just wanted to call attention to it before I forget.
