I wish this was true for me. What's your experience?

It's been ages since I had the "Glued-Eyes" Syndrome. There're, fortunately, those in-the-window moments when I feel something similar to feeling sleepy. Re-wiring will eventually happen, though! And it's still better than it used to be.

Neuro, was there a period during your withdrawal that you couldn't stay awake?

Actually never - akathisia, the "fight or flight" response and the sheer WD terror were all so abhorrent that "sleeping" was the most hellish thing on Earth. Even at the times when I was/am in the "depressive" stage of the wave, sleep didn't/doesn't bring the expected relief.

Yet, as paradoxical as it can only get for us, the WD-ers, it's still got better than it was in early WD. Also, the most recent of the windows brought with them the feelings and emotions I haven't experienced for many long years. Not in the window now, but hoping for the window to be eventually back.
