I can try Miguel.  I just have a little time this morning so did a general search.  Several different sites came up loaded with information to sift through.  You could do this as well I presume.  Are you looking for the chemical composition?  I'm not sure exactly what you mean here.

 

What does your new liquid prescription say on the label?  Concentration and manufacturer?  Did it come with a dropper or a small syringe?  Is it the Cipralex made by Lundeback?

I extracted this part from that link which talks about the 20mg : 1mL concentration and diluting it for more accuracy.  It also talks about the 10mg: 1mL concentration so don't get confused.

NOTE: In the UK, the liquid form is available at a 10mg:1mL or 20mg:1mL concentration -- very inconvenient for tapering. One version of the liquid form is Cipralex from Lundbeck.

To take 1mg of the 10:1 liquid, use the small slim 1mL oral syringe to take 0.1mL (one-tenth milliliter). The 1mL oral syringe has 10 ticks within .1mL, enabling taking .01mL (one-hundreth milliliter) or, given the 10:1 concentration, .1mg (one-tenth milligram) escitalopram.

This information from Lundbeck, a manufacturer of escitalopram drops in Europe, http://www.medicines.org.uk/EMC/medicine/21976/SPC/Cipralex+5,+10+and+20+mg+film-coated+tablets+and+20+mg+ml+oral+drops,+solution/ (Miguel, this link comes up blank now.  If you type in Cipralex however you will find the information and perhaps what you are looking for as far as composition) suggests the liquid form can be diluted with water:

Cipralex oral drops, solution can be mixed with water, orange juice or apple juice.

 
Since water is part of the original formulation, it is unlikely additional water will cause the dilution to degrade. However, being exposed to light, etc. may do this, so it is unclear how long a diluted solution will last in potency.

Did you get some 1mL syringes?  You will need to accurately measure out the 0.5mL (which contains 10mg of escitalopram) and then add to 9.5mL of water.

You will then have a 1mg: 1mL concentrated solution.

You'll need a larger syringe, a 10mL size to measure out 7.65mL for your dosage.  If you have to round up......do so.  7.7mL may not have a marking but eyeball between the 7.6mL and 7.8mL and then stay consistent.

quick update > 2 days ago I took melatonin again to try to see if it still affects me and yes it did work but woke up whit lower scores on depression and suicidal thoughts even dow the are really minor now 

brain fog is finally going away since I started tapering 

2. Bilastine aka a European anti-histamine that is low in side effects and really good anti-allergy medication has a hidden danger on people that have a really sensitive CNS

that includes  briefly audio flashbacks like an audio Dejavu (last between 1 to 10 s )

Worsening of depression scores: Degree of effect (Low to medium-low

worsening of Nero-fear(mild)

Conclusion 

only take it if you really bad off and then stop the use of it 

I only took it yesterday because I had an allergic reaction to my Eliquid aka Vape

and I started to feel strange and my nose Closed up and felt like difficulty breathing 

and had tons of mucus production and some tints of blood prob caused by all the sneezing 

 

Quick Question 

1-I have been taking my medication at 12 in the afternoon 

and I have experience disruptive sleep at night (fall a sleep and wake up after 1 or 2 hours several times in the night)

it does not always happen but it's frequent I did sleep in the afternoon but because I got drowsy from the Bilastine

it also didn't happen when I took melatonin but the harm outways the benefits 

Shude I pull the med time even further back?

@Altostrata hi i got a problem here whit my liquid Lexapro

first of all its not generic its brand Lexapro straing from the original maker or inventor H. Lundbeck

2-it has an inserted dropper inside the bottle 

each drop equals 1 mg 

my question is do I just pop the dropper from the bottle or will it destroy the bottle

Ps: I already removed the dropper from inside 

do I have to put it back in or do I toss it

I don't understand your question, Miguel. Is this a special measuring cap on the bottle? It is not necessary if there is an outer cap that can seal the bottle.

@Altostratathey shude be close in terms of effects but ofc they are not exactly the same 

basically, am switching from a generic made in a small lab that makes tons of generics to the lab that invented it 

so might fell some effects just hope they don't ramp up to idiotic levels 

the experience that I gained in here I see that sometimes the switch can slap has hard 

but for that i have a longer holding period

I have been quite sick (from sugarless gum).  I posted under a different thread and forum (under symptoms, artificial sweeteners, or something similar, but need to move it to my own thread as well,  I have been posting very, very little.  I was nearly as sick as I was when I was in acute benzo withdrawal (I think you said you read my thread,  at least the first page, as that spells the worst out).  Even though it was only severe for 24 hours, it has been a seemingly long road of exhaustion and fatigue to get back to "normal."  You will see why I was gone once I post it on my regular thread, too.  My thread points at a linear recovery, but I have had setbacks with mental issues (confusion, headaches, insomnia, cog fog), which I believe I mentioned in my post.  It has been hard to post when my brain has felt quite scrambled, but it is coming around. 

 

 At the bottom of this post is where my recent issue has been:

 

Note:  I did not say that the generic was causing YOU GI issues.  I said that it gave me GI issues, and you might want to look into that.I also found out that when I reported it on the FDA site, others had had the same issue as well.  Not a large group,, but some people certainly did!

 

I had ZERO issue going from generic to brand name, I see you went to liquid.  I thought that was the generic "escitalopram", not the brand name Lexapro (does your label say "Lexapro" or escitalopram?  If it says escitalopram no matter who produces it,  it should not be as expensive, yay!).  This is the liquid I suggested you go to before, as it does not have the coating ingredients.  But yes, Lexapro (also without the coating) made me feel SO much better.  You had a lot of changes, and decreased too soon and too quickly after a huge drop/change, so GI issues can arise from that, or you may have unrelated GI issues.  Sadly it is not a one sixe fits all situation.  Good luck.

Hi all I am here to say that I am starting to notice improvements in my mental status since I switched to parma Lexapro liquid 

thus proving that my homemade liquid was probably not correct or maybe the molecule was getting change since the water was not purified

thus having contaminants that may be changing  the molecule  .

It sounds like you're having quite the mixed bag of symptoms: some improvements and some new symptoms also.

I'm glad you are 90% sure they are nerve/medication change related. They definitely are. 

 

I'm sorry to hear you are having suicidal thoughts. It sounds like you are able to notice and observe them, and know that they are chemically caused, right?

Still very unpleasant.

@SkyBlue ye I forgot to tell you guys I had blood work today and I have been feeling fatigue and Gi disturbance

like gas and loose stools, burning stomach 

So basically IBS like symptoms 

pretty common on WD 

I also had a really bad Depressed Dip but I eventually got back up whit the help of my mother 

but the fatigue is amazingly strong

Update 

Had a good window of like 3 days 

and got put back on a wave

been having minor brain zaps on my left side of my brain and  a minor eye strain on my left eye 

I took my med at 11a.m 

 

and I went to clean my house and had a major brain zap on my left side of the brain 

it felt like when i got shocked by  my pc charger 

it was really strong 

after that, i feel tired and dizzy and got minor brain zaps again

Hi Miguel-- I'm glad you're getting a nice window every now and then, that show real improvement.  I am worried about all zapps you've been mentioning.  They're usually an indication that a person is reducing too fast.  I know that you are taking care with your taper but it might be time to take a break for a couple of months and let things stabilize. Just to mention it mine were always left to right when they happened, I wonder if there is something to that.

@brassmonkeythey were realy minor and i think it might be caused by my eye strain but today i realy felt it just once ,they headaches i was getting were like thingeling sensation on the left side i also got a stuffy nose and my sinues are inflammed ,outher than that they only real zap i had that i am 100sure it was a brain zap was the one i had today were i turned my head and had a massive zap felt like a when you put your finger on a plug it was realy strong and after that i was dizzie and felt the thingeling get stronger .

Ps:zaps go from middele left to down the left side of my face

And alsp they sensatipn start after i takey daily dose and go down has the day progresses,

I will keep holding until i stabilize

So my mother decided to go off at 5 mg of Lexapro and she said that she ain't going back on them I can notice that she is already in wd because she is moody more 

lets hope she does not react has bad has me 

she only been taking it for 5 -8months 

and she does not take it consistently 

 

i have tried to tell her to let me help her on the taper and to go slow but she does not listen

Yes, I hope that her withdrawal will not be bad. 

You can always invite her to visit these forums. 

But yes, it sounds very challenging that you have offered to help her taper slowly and she isn't listening.

Been having severe chest tightness feels like someone is squeezing my chest and  lack of air   and irritability 

started 1 week and a half ago

 

no changes in dose the 7.65 to 7.64 was not a drop I was actually in a much lower dose when I was on the homemade at least for what I felt when I change to parma liquid 

this sucks but well  this has been a long wave

got a job working in the night time has a baker.  it has been 2 months and a couple of days and I have been feeling better and better, suicidal thoughts are on the lowest and most days they don't even happen and I am recovering nicely I am here to ask for advice on about restarting the taper I wanna go even slower than 7 % on the brass monkey slide because I don't wanna have big impairments when I am working  so if possible can someone give me the maths for the taper of 5 % brass monkey slide Ty

 

and I have also quite nicotine about 1 and half weeks ago so still having gi problems because of that but they are going away

Hi Miguel and congratulations on the job.  That is great news.

 

Because you have only recently quit nicotine it might be worthwhile leaving it for another few weeks (at least 3) before you restart your taper.

 

Brass Monkey Slide taper instructions.  Instead of calculating 10% you would calculate 5%.

@ChessieCat hi updating i had to leave that job after 12 days the conditions of work were horrible  and it was super stressful and since people their had problems whit my dad in the pass I was kinda their revenge opportunity 

but I did eventually have to defend my shelf  , I didn't lose my job because of having enter in 2 a fight whit a 38 y old man I decided to quit since it was making me go downhill and my body was rebelling against me 

i am already looking for a more decent job on a big company or something were the actual rules of work will be followed and were I will not work 55 hours in a week 

 

it was causing me a lot of physical problems including tension headaches, vomiting due to stress and gi distress 

 

i will give a couple more days and i will resume my taper

Update > Dose decreased from 7.64 to 7.52 =1.57% drop Next drop in 1 week wil be »7.40 =1.6% after that week it will be  »7.28(1.62%) then after that week the next drop will be »7.16(1.65%)  in a total of 6.44 % from 7.64

and we will hold for one month after that 

 

Taper resumed at 28/6/2018 at 11.55 a.m

Second drop at :05/07/2018

third drop at : 12/07/2018

fourth drop at :19/07/2018

hold 1 mouth and 1 week concluding at 26/08/2018

and we will resume at 27/08/2018 the next slide.
