Both of you. I used 1/2 packet of bonebroth with a tinge of turmeric(it's packaged that way) in my morning blender concoction. Well, I have used it a few times. Well tolerated. A bit of a weird taste. I don't know for sure.......might have helped with my cognition/focus a bit today anyway. Man, life has been still busy.......in a good way mostly. Rounding up to 30 years of medications(30 medication trials, poly-pharmacy maximum was 3 at one time). 5/28/2015-off Adderal salts 2.5mg. (I had been on that since hospital 10/2014) 12/2015---just holding, holding, holding, with trileptal/oxcarb at 75 mg. 1/2 tab at hs. My last psycho med ever! Tapered @ 10% every 4 weeks, sometimes 2 weeks to 2016 Dec 16, medication free!! Longer signature post here, with current supplements. Herb and alcohol free since 5/15/2016. And.....I quit smoking 11/2021. Lapsed. Redo of quit smoking 9/28/2022. Can you say Hallelujah?(took me long enough)💜 None of my posts are intended as medical advice. Diazapam 1.5mg evening, Propanalol 40mg split 4x10mg throughout day. Recent meds. Fluoxetine 20mg began 24th Nov 2017, CT on 4th December on medical advice due to bad Akathisia. Citalopram 10mg began on 13th Dec 2017, tapered to 2.5mg by 20th Dec 2017 on medical advice. Diazapam 2mg began on 6th Dec 2017 cut to 1.5 mg on 26th Dec. Propanalol 40mg began on 13th Dec. Zopiclone 3.75 mg began 13th December, used maybe 5 times then quit. Previous history. Tricyclics, Fluoxetine or Citalopram for periods of 6mo to 2yrs over last 25 years. Probably 5 yrs in total. My suggestions are not medical advice, you are in charge of your own medical choices. A lifetime of being prescribed antidepressants that caused problems (30 years in total). At age 35 flipped to "bipolar," but was not diagnosed for 5 years. Started my journey in Midwest United States. Crossed the Pacific for love and hope; currently living in Australia. CT Seroquel 25 mg some time in 2013. Tapered Reboxetine 4 mg Oct 2013 to Sept 2014 = GONE (3 years on Reboxetine). Tapered Lithium 900 to 475 MG (alternating with the SNRI) Jan 2014 - Nov 2014, tapered Lithium 475 mg Jan 2015 - Feb 2016 = GONE (10 years on Lithium). Many mistakes in dry cutting dosages were made. I don't know if the chef's at Campbell's changed the recipe or my taste buds just off, but I could not add enough salt, which is one of my true loves. Give me an olive or pickle any day. How's the pain my friend? Able to sit up and take nourishment? Some tea? A little Vegamite on toast? I mean, yuck, but you are Australian, so its a national thing. (I had been on that since hospital 10/2014) 12/2015---just holding, holding, holding, with trileptal/oxcarb at 75 mg. 1/2 tab at hs. My last psycho med ever! I must admit I just found another WDS that is still hanging on strong... lack of mental (*plays music to fill in the void while thinking of the blessed word*) patience (NOT the word I was looking for, UGH) for reading. I feel like I'm an elementary student given a book to read when all I can handle is a comic book. I have the attention span of a gnat. Glad to hear you're doing a bit better. Baby steps I guess is better than being stuck in quicksand. Hugs! My memory is a sieve. But it is fiction I can't focus on. I can't relax and read a novel. Or flip through cook books...which was another enjoyable past time. What I can do is read journal articles, books (related to this obvious subject) and of course posts on SA. Granted, it takes me much longer to read than in the past. I have to reread and unfortunately I forget a lot of what I have read. Maybe it has something to do with survival. If I want to get through this I have to educate myself and I know I can not rely on anyone else to do this. If you and I were having a face-to-face conversation, you'd find it takes me quite some time to get out a sentence. Words fly away in my brain as I try to grab them in frustration. I guess that's what I like about posting. I can write half a sentence, pause and find the right expression without being under a time pressure. Does that make sense? If it isn't the right word, he'll try another, then another until I end up yelling at him "give me some ******* time dammit". Of course, that sends me into a bawling mess. Little radicals in training. I went a year ago. Hard to believe it was that long. I was rather ill and after the march began my odyssey with adverse reaction to an antibiotic. But I remember just how amazing it felt to be in the presence of so very many woman (men too) who all were united in a purpose. So very many people of all ages, sizes and colors will be impacted by this shutdown and NOT in a good way. Healthcare is so very vital. When working in a career job, I had Cadillac insurance. I have also been uninsurable due to an illness and had to pay cash. Medications are expensive. Expense and the fear of losing my insurance was yet another reason to eliminate medications. It's not surprising considering all the situational upheaval. Unfortunately, I made a medication boo boo this morning, which I'm sure has added to today's crappiness. I forgot to take my usual morning meds...I remembered 4 hours later...so instead of taking them at 7am, I took them at 11am. The muscular pain is intense and has spread to my back. The fatigue is debilitating. Cognitively I can barely think...brain fog/concrete head/feel like my brain is leaking out my ears. Ruminating thoughts on full power...fatigue is making usual mediation or distraction methods impossible. My mood is very flat and dark. The deep dispair has returned but again I can't cry. So no release in that department. Sleep has been 4-5 hours but waking 2 times on average. Trembling from the inside out. Tight chest. Thankfully the headache is not heading towards a migraine. Thankfully no nausea. Again I remind myself "this is only temporary".....then that little negative voice in the back of my mind says "no it's not"....I swore at it 😒 Love to you all...I would be lost without you...one step at a time.
