Stan, I never had the stomach tension, but very bad back, neck and head...one of the residuals I deal with still is the head tension. My back/neck tension let up for me at about the 3.5 year mark...I know of someone else who is approaching 5 years at the end of July who still has it. I'm not saying that your muscle tension will last this long...just pointing out that muscle tension/rigidity seems to be a part of the w/d process.

hi Hopeful,

i think you speak from your friend Akaenew,

i have many more muscles tension, i have also back pain, neck and shoulders, right shoulder in fire?, legs pain which come and go, lung muscles pain, ribcage muscles pain( had severe shortness of breath which has lessened recently), right diaphragm muscles strange problem since one/two months, and all this more intense, less intense, more intense...and i forget many

hopefully have little improvements, or else would be desperate,

i have read your posts several times when in hell during two years...

but , curiously, i never had head pressure

hi Hopeful,

i think you speak from your friend Akaenew,

Yes we both have the head pressure, but the early w/d type head pressure for me seems like muscle tension now. She still has the back/neck tension pretty bad at times. I have had the burning feeling (which may be what you call fire). I've had the shortness of breath and all of the back pain, neck and shoulder issues you speak of. One thing that helped me a little is using a hot water bottle at the back of my neck at night when I went to bed.

Try not to worry about recovery (I know when you are in the worst of it it is hard)but, you will make it. Also, regarding age (I've seen you mention it) I'm not too many years younger than you so age and recovery really doesn't matter. Feel free to touch base anytime if you have any questions. I took French in Junior High school, but only remember our Pledge of Allegiance though

Healing

You learned the American Pledge of Allegiance in French?! Isn't that subversive or something?

Sending you soothing energy for your stomach, mon ami Stan. The hot water bottle or other heat source is a great idea.

You learned the American Pledge of Allegiance in the Middle Ages?! Doesn't that mean that someone from post-1776 went back to teach you in 1300 and then you came here to 2011?! This is getting more subversive by the minute....

Meanwhile, how is our Stan (who has ESP)? (This is quite a thread.) How are your diaphragm muscles feeling? I have had terrible muscle pain, tightness, stiffness, susceptibility to injury. Recently, I started taking homeopathic arnica and have gotten good results. The remedy is made by Boiron in France!

oh wow this is one symptom that i had forgotten about, as iv not had it for a very long time now...in the first year or so i had tight abdo/stomach muscles just felt like they were tensed but they just wouldnt release and it wasnt anxiety causing it, as I, like you, would get it out of the blue at the strangest times...good news Stan this cleared up for me and im sure it will for you too :)
