After reading stories in the SA forum with reinstatement other worked other not.

I'm off seroxat 6 weeks and I struggle with vertigo, and cortisol spikes at wake up. Do I have a chance it might get better or I play my chances and reinstate the last dose I was 1 drop.? Any advice is appreciated thanks

You say your last dose was 1 drop.  If it was me, I would not be reinstating 1 drop.

 

You could dilute 1 drop in water and take a very low dose to test to see how you react and then if you are okay you could then increase by a little bit more.  You may only need a dose of 1/4 or 1/2 drop.  If you dilute 1 drop in 10ml of water, each 1ml of solution will equal 1/10th drop.  If you don't have a small enough syringe you can dilute 1 drop in 100ml of water, each 10ml of solution will equal 1/10th drop.

If reinstatement ½ drop works then I have to taper less amount.If it doesn't and after 1 day I get worse what is my safety pillow?

 Melatonin 10mg is helping, over all.

Update.

yesterday

I cut to 3,75mg olanzapine.(3/4). Sleep is good, not perfect, I sleep about  8 hours max. I use a pill cutter to taper.

 

I believe in fate.

I have a heavy feeling that in January I will go into hospital. because  on 31/12/2018 my health insurance expires and I will get pressure from my environment to face unless I run away.

Struggling a bit.I have dreams and aspirations and have a life to carry  on. Is the zyprexa the culprit?What can I do?

If anyone has any input about this with solving this it would be mostly appreciated.

Hi Miko-- For healthy people who need a mental "lift" during the day Brainzyme  might be of some benefit.  But for people going through ADWD it should be avoided.  A number of the ingredients are ones that we recommend people avoid.  All the online information is copy and pasted from one source and there is no real scientific testing sited anywhere.  The discussion on side effects, other that stating that there are none (a claim they don't/can't back up) centers on it being vegan friendly which isn't a side effect. There are no negative reviews at all, which is a red flag.  My recommendation, once again, is to save your money.

Miko, if you're so anxious about what will happen in January, whatever that might be, perhaps it would be a good idea to stop tapering right now. There is no need to add the stress of reducing olanzapine to whatever you expect will happen -- which might not happen at all. You can resume tapering later.

 

Seems that you are in the habit of making yourself very scared and anxious. You need to break this habit, including "I believe in fate." (If you truly can tell the future, please let me know, I need stock market tips.)

 

It's possible that the new year will bring additional life stresses. You need coaching to learn how to handle them rather than dwell on your fears, which may be groundless. If you can find a counselor who will teach you cognitive behavior therapy, that might help. Learning how to meditate might help, too, as you will be able to turn off the worrying thoughts when they arise -- it's free and you can teach it to yourself.

Brain fog gets difficult, I reinstated on 28/11 ½ drop paxil and on 8/12 I updose reinstatement to 1 drop paxil I did a check on the doctor yesterday and everything was negative, but I got brain fog and I think my vision still isn't right. After that cold I took a non-aspirin  and started sweating and felt odd.

Yes, it dissolves mostly. I used almost a cup full in a bucket of 20 ltrs.

Update

After 7 months from July 2017 I'm free of risperidone my libido has returned 80%. with the help of adaptogens turmeric and bacopa monnieri, I wouldn't know that if it wasn't SA forum and I do most things I like.So there is recovery. Things were difficult sometimes due to withdrawal and anhedonia, Anhedonia is like living in hell and having nightmares. I was hopeless sometimes that I won't be able to come off risperidone, because after 20 days things of the last dose I felt unstable, agitated and was reacting to things and behaviours: not responding.Father, not having the slightest idea what the reactions/behaviour was due to the chemical drug. They were seeing my behaviour/the outside the reactions which were due to the chemical drug.. My brothers and friends don't understand that these chemicals acts to the neurotransitter that regulate motivation, concetration, energy, libido, addictions. The ability to focus, learn, turn off your mind when it’s time to relax and go to sleep depends on them.

I have some residual symptoms , brain fog, flu-like symptoms and numbness in foot in morning but I hope they fade away with time.

I was 3 and 1/2 years on risperidone and I'm still here. I survived . Believe it.

I made many mistakes and I regret some but if I hadn't done them then I wouldn't be who I am today.

I have had really difficult days with family and relatives.

With aunt and cousin, to cut it short they get offended easily and they mention things to parents. I got upset and my day was ****ed.

I love this Miko ,I have a  2 year old niece also and she is my rock ,such a beautiful soul ,she runs to me ,she has helped a very sick mans heart shine .she lives in the UK but I travel and they travel home ,and skype make it great .

I have really bad withdrawal spaciness, DP, insomnia and anxiety. I have exact same symptoms like “lalala” withdrawal from paxil described and her dr prescribed prozac. If I go to my old dr. he will put me on last injection risp and that would be total failure and setback.

I'm really struggling, and dont know how long this wave it last. I was recenlty suicidal  during morning hours after having a lot of pressure from my environment. and at 19.30pm but I get distracted going to the gym and taking coffee time.

Today my worst day of my life.

My brother yelled at me, and I yelled him back. He didn't listen to me when I told him I had rough day trying to get some things going on He doesn't know what I'm going through and he yelled at me.

 

About the poop out   tolerance.

I've tapering paxil,(prexat)  for more than 3 years,  I read about  poop out . Could the dizziness, lighteheadness be poop out from the antideppressant paxil. Am I experiencing poop out ?

Poop out is when you stop experiencing the good effect of medications that it was originally giving. (ofcourse with side effects here)

 

It might be when you are on full dose you start feeling its doing nothing rather  a log of side effects.

 

Usually people start taper when drug ( stopping  calling it medicine ) poop out  OR they increase the dosage.

 

In your case you are tapering down.

So its a withdrawal of the dependency on drug on your higher dose.

Some members treat their unwanted thoughts like clouds, they look at them and then watch the float by.

 

You could try putting on some songs that you like singing to, if you are able to do that (I went through stages where I couldn't stand to have music on, let alone be able to sing).  Catchy ones might help to push the rumination aside even if just for a short time.

I put on music every morning and helps me let it go.

 

The previous days really hard to get by. I'm a bit sleep deprived, Wednesday 5hours sleep only, last night 7 hours. Wednesday went to a party and partied until 5am. In the morning  woke  up tired because at the next apartment were arguing and woke me up.

 

Tomorrow I have an important conversation with my father about , Hope it goes smooth.

Hi Miko I can totally empathise about the mental activity ,its like having the Spanish inquisition in my mind .

I apologise if I sound like I'm judging here but the fact you say you party until 5 AM ,this gives me the shivers .ive been there and done it all and you couldn't pay me to ever go back to them days .I wont go on but if you ever start to second guess this lifestyle you can always   PM me and I can give you any advice.

The last 15 days I had many stressors and  got farigitis, fever and runny nose so I went to the doctor on Monday and gave m antibiotic and antihistamine  for 7 days till next Monday.

Needed rest and relax but I had no space   and too much noise from the new tenant next   apartment and  the stress build up so today I called

   pdoctor  and I told him about  the stressors the last 15 days and I was under withdrawal from paxil and he told me to take 1/4  frisium for  a few days.

 

I took at 14.00pm noon and now I  have dizziness, cinderblock.  Will it get better or stop it?  its benzo.I am  a bit worried

If you are not happy with the effects that the frisium is having on you then stop taking it.  As you pointed out it is a benzo.  It is highly addictive and must be tapered even after short term use. It causes severe suicidal ideation in most users, can cause severe skin problems, seizures and a whole laundry list of other symptoms. Even at the tiny dose of 1/4 tablet I would stay away from it.

I took the   frisium for 3 days  1/4 at noon and   2/4  tablet at night and helped me get over the stress and pressure, I had good rest and helped me.

 

On Thursday had a argument with a friend, had little sleep that night, very tensed, he was selfish and acted like an dork.

Guys, for the time being most of my friends don't know the situation/condition I am, only two know, my best friend and my brother, the other don't know the drugs olanzapine and risperidone have made to me for the last 5 years so they r not able to understand why I act.

My family also have little understanding. I need to get away from this situation..

I have distress in the morning even though I have relieving valves- for stress and I keep my body and mind happy and worry-free. I enjoy RC flying , gym and have a lot of great time.

 

So my thought is to be admitted at the hospital and then my other friends know what and why, I will feel free and relieved after that, and I know things will be different. I can speak to previous psychiatrist who was working at the hospital to be admitted voluntarily and we talk, knows me to have some kind of easy treatment while admitted, he directs things so not to be drugged while hospitasitation. I will tell him to write a diagnosis so. I can get after dismissed some kind of allowance.

But the worst is that if I admitted to the hospital and things don't go this way that will equal serious setback from all point of views. I will be given injection , so my tapering all these 5 years will be waste of time and be setback.

You think this is too risky.?

Or I could just stay with this situation

I'm off prexat, 1 month I and I have at rest time some leg movement and have some side effects from olanazpine

I take at night olanzapine½ pill 1,25 mg

 

At morning yesterday I woke up with negative energy and negative emotions, I had a glass of wine to help with sleep, but didnt maybe was the thoughts during the day, or the wine.

Started today, and had restlessness, not sure if its the ginseng ,

HI Miko I hope you don't turn out to be prediabetic but theres a lot you can do to prevent this escalating with your diet .

How long before bed are you exercising ? it would want to be a few hours before you settle down to sleep ,its very stimulating .

Hi Pb,

 

I exercise mostly during the day at 17.00-18.00 sometimes 18.3 no later than 19.00.

I did that some years when I was and exercised at 22.00 ,was a habit but I don't do it anymore

The restlesness was very bad and pressure in my head due to stressful events  and made it worse with very poor sleep to no sleep. I was and am in bad shape and went to my GP , I had no sleep , he suggested to take benzo xanax , I was really helpless and hopeless , my close environment saw me have mood swings and they showed no compassion and understanding , on the opposite , that stesssed me more and my reactions were very compulsive , that made things worse, and they said I had quit the meds, the problem was/is they are not aware of acute withdrwal from th AD and AP, caused more stress to have them think that I needed to get back to meds,

 

My plan for now is to improve my sleep and adjust some things so to be more relaxed.

S0 I added a benzo , I went to my GP, Th e acute withdrawal from the seroxat and AP, I am not sure if its the stop of the seroxat 2 months ago, What is your opinion? Is it the seroxat and the reduction in the a/p zyprexa.I dont want to get back to AD to relieve stress. I have an appointment tomorrow with the GP and want to tell him about the benzo anxiolitic, how I sleep tonight etc.
