David, Kasia here , i sent you here. Please listen to Admin team. They know a lot . We all know you are panicking a little bit but as Alto said , changes you made between june and august are affecting You now.

No-one will tell you the answer and where your mistakes were.

Now you can say - i should have or could have done differently.

Everyone here has a story and slow tapper is the best for most of people . Even if your windows last 3-4 hours, they will expand

With these drugs, and especially Lexarpo that made my life miserable togerher with some other pharma wonders, it is not a race. You will experience strange things, and they will go away slowly.

Magnesium is good . But be careful with supplements - do not overstimulate your nervous system

Sleep as much as you can

And these drugs influence your gut.

Drink a lot of water.

Sept2012-april 2013 - Lexarpo 20mg - taper beginning in Feb till April 2013

Xanax full october 2012 and full February 2013

Lyrica - nov- dec 2012

Withdrawal

End of May 2013- August 2013 - st johns wort - taper 6 weeks

Withdrawal (mixture cipralex and sjw)

Now lorazepam for anxiety- not regular

Still in withdrawal - head pressure, nausea - trying to hang in there

Sensitive to antidepressant and benzos

David, is it possible for you to have a blood test to see where you stand with regards to your electrolyte panel? Out of ranges on these electrolytes can have all kinds of symptoms, especially during the withdrawal process. If the result of the electrolytes comes back as normal then it will give provide you reliefs and you do not have to guess whether the magnesium or any other elements are deficient. You can concentrate on fine tuning the tapering to lessen the severe withdrawal symptoms. It is just an elimination process so you can concentrate on what is causing so much problems. Take care David.

David,

Also stress and anxiety is one of the major factors that will impact your withdrawal symptoms. Half an hour ago I was better than how i feel now as I am typing these words to you. As I research on some of the health problems I have on the net, I become more stressed and I can actually feel some of the withdrawal symptoms coming and running over me like a train. For me, these punishing symptoms arrive so fast, within minutes. So David, please find a way to control your anxiety the best you can. I know it is so easy to say it but very difficult to achieve once we are in the middle of feeling stressed. Please just keep in mind that stress and anxiety can lead to panic attacks that will lead to more severe symptoms. I have experienced them all. We need to realize and understand these factors for what they are and how they impact us during this hellish process.

Welcome, David.

If you started taking 2.5mg escitalopram 11 days ago and you are starting to feel better now, that sounds like the dosage is good for you.

You will want to stay at this dosage for a while, perhaps months, before tapering again. Then, you probably will want to use a liquid, as explained in Tips for tapering off Lexapro (escitalopram)

Please let us know how you are doing.

david, it's very difficult to tell what's the best dose for reinstatement. It could be that 2.5mg is too much for you. You might try 2.0mg and see if you feel better on it.

Most likely, you will want to make a liquid to take 2.0mg.

It can take months for the nervous system to settle down from the big shock of withdrawal, even after reinstating.

Can I still try reduce drug dosage to 2.0mg after taking 2.5 mg during last 3 weeks? If that could be make some change how much time should i wait for my organism reaction on new dosage? I have feeling that i feel sometimes better after at least over a dozen hours or about twenty hours. After my try to withdrawal I feel that taking drug doesn't bring relief as before, but I feel though it worsened my condition in next over a dozen hours after taking drug. I don't feel mechanism of windows and waves during last 9 days. In addition to symptoms which I've noted in my last few posts, I also feel dry mouth. How can I recognize if it is a adverse reaction or withdrawal symptom, and do I sensitive for this drug? If that is a adverse reaction will it go away finally? Should I understand adverse reaction as side effect of this drug? In this topic reinstating too big dose is treat as dead end from which there is no escape. How can I understand it?

Will division my daily dosage in two doses be good idea to not feeling some side effects, adverse reaction?

I've already make a liquid only from two doses, because there isn't information about stability of escitalopram.

David you were taking 5 mg every 6 days

Do not divide 5 by 6

As it does not make sense. Theoretically, half life of lexarpo is about 3 days . So you were making a mess in tour system - 3 days with a drug , 3 off and then a kick with 5 mg and the same story again

Your dosis needs to be stable every single day.

I know you are impatient, me to, everyone would be

I am struggling with issues after i quit this drug for more than 2 years. Its better to do it slowly with stable dosis and gradual tappering

Listen to admin team here. They know from experience.

I can tell you listen to your intuition but in withdrawal it is not easy.

Try to distract yourself. It will pass

Yes, you can go from 2.5mg to 2.0mg. Perhaps the lower dose will be better for you.

If you feel better on 2.0mg, you will still need to give your nervous system time to settle down. This could be months.

There are a lot of unknowns about this situation. No one can predict how long it will take for you to recover from your bad reaction. Doctors don't know anything about this.

You are asking the same questions everyone asks when they have withdrawal syndrome. Read

I have to write that yesterday was the first window for 10 days. I feel mentally almost normal, maybe even completly normally. Although still remained physically symptoms like some muscle tension. Today for a 2-3 hours it still was better almost that yesterday, but gradually it went to go down to condition which was in last earlier days. I know that it may suggest windows and waves pattern. As I am reading more and more this topic http://survivingantidepressants.org/index.php?/topic/7562-about-reinstating-and-stabilizing-to-reduce-withdrawal-symptoms/I am convinced that probably I should take 2-3 times lower dose. I can't stand it. My case doesn't seemed to be difficult and so reinstating shoudln't be long. It seems that my symptoms and deterioration are related to too higher dose. For example, I feel that just maybe 1-2 hours after taking this dose I have problems with sleeping, that have not occurred before choose 2.5mg/day. I'm afraid that I extend the time of my recovery by a months and Probably I would feel better now and in next months. I feel that by one small mistake I go into dead end and I can't change anything  :(. I can't imagine now back to study from October and to normal functioning.

Now everything indicates on too high dose. If my dose is actually too high it's possible that it can't prevent stabilization?

I haven't decided to take 2mg, because yesterday I felt better. Does this change to 2mg further lengthen time to settle down?

I wouldn't want extend my time of recovery.

After 3 weeks i find out that i must go down and go down to 2021/06. 2021/06 Going down from 1mg to 0.4 in 2 weeks when I feel that that dose became to high. I started to feeling better then at about 0.4mg after, I started feeling that drug too high dose symptoms starting to let go in few days.
2021/06/05 - next mistake - I take 2 days levocetirizine for allergy, after 2 days crash, symptoms like on too high doses.

One of the characteristics of withdrawal syndrome is the symptoms keep on changing. You need to learn to surf the waves.

I've changed my signature because somebody has told me that it could be incomprehensible. Can i still reduce my drug to 2mg? Why now can I change the dose, generally I can't it do before stabilization. I don't understand it.

Alto, you've written in Sometimes reinstatement http://survivingantidepressants.org/index.php?/topic/7562-about-reinstating-and-stabilizing-to-reduce-withdrawal-symptoms/"not only doesn't work but makes symptoms worse" and If, upon reinstatement, you very soon feel worse, most likely you are sensitized to the drug. I feel that i has it. I came too late to this forum :/ I don't know what should i think about it. I'm afraid hat i go to dead end and it will be worse and worse.

If you feel better on 2.5mg, that might be adequate. You felt better on September 19.

How are you feeling now?

Please carefully read my posts. My time is limited.

Read

I've given you my best guess. Other than that, it's up to you. I cannot make decisions for you.

Please note that many people get anxious and jump around in dosage. This is a bad idea. See The rule of 3KIS: Keep it simple. Keep it slow. Keep it stable.

2021/06/07 - 2021/06/16 - 0.4mg - 0.1mg
2021/06/17 - 2021/06/20 - I feel that i could reinstate - 0.1 - 0.6mg, but after 2 days again too high dose
2021/06/21 - 2021/06/28 - 0.6mg - 0.12mg
2021/06/29 - 2021/06/30 - I feel that i could reinstate - 0.13 - 0.3, but after 2 days again too high dose

2021/07/15 - 2021/07/19 - 0.12 - 0.01mg - still I feel too high dose effects, some withdrawal symptoms like dizziness, but they let go and more and more too high dose effects, therfore I go down with dose

I don't understand your question. If you usually take escilatopram in the morning, take it in the morning. If you usually take it in the evening, take it in the evening.

I can't stand my worse and numerous symptoms and i'm afraid that these stronger and additional symptoms never leave me. It' s possible that this dose never bring relief, stabilization? I'm afraid about it, because I hadn't better days at all, and worse days are worse over time. I recently visited a psychiatrist and he recommended taking Prefaxine 37.5mg (Venlafaxinum) by 3 months, taking Prefaxine 75mg by 6 months and 3 months withdrawal. Prefaxine would be started instead of Escitalopram. Would it be better than waiting with worse symptoms or could it cause even more mess in my organism . Has anyone some expierence with changing on this drug, or with this drug, its subsequent withdrawal, its influence?

All the time i haven't got answer if my fault with dose and my decreasing tendency without waves and windows pattern means that there is no way to recover? I'm afraid that my fault caused that it's no hope for my recovery.  :(

david, I'm concerned there may be language problems or you're having difficulty reading the responses to your questions. You're asking the same questions over and over.

Please re-read this topic from the beginning.

As I said before, many times, you may feel better with a slightly lower dose of escilatopram.

Waves and windows are the usual pattern of stabilization. It's not your fault if you have a wave. How long it will take for you to recover cannot predicted -- this is true for everyone.

Switching to another drug -- as you can see, it's not something I or anyone who posted in your topic recommended. Quite frequently, it goes wrong. Venlafaxine is a drug that is activating -- causing anxiety, sleeplessness, nervousness, etc. Whether or not it will help you, no one can say.

If taking another drug was the solution for withdrawal syndrome, we would be happy to tell people that and close up the site.

This is not medical advice. Discuss any decisions about your medical care with a knowledgeable medical practitioner.

I don't know what should am I doing with my drug - Escitalopram, It is so slightly soluble in water and I really don't know if, even after mixing, I draw right dose. I've still taken 2mg two days, and I don't know what shoud I do. Cutting pills with a pill cutter is also inaccurate, it seems that doses may differ from each other by at least few percent. Although it seems more accurate than dissolution and mixing in water. May I still back to previous 2.5mg dose after two days? I'm not sure about accuracy and maybe I should wait for Lexapro in liquid which maybe I get by some of users of this forum.

Alto, you wrote that I am asking the same questions over and over, but I can't find anywhere reply on the following issue. It is certain that my dose is too much and I didn't react timely to reduce it significantly. I ask in general, does this reaction associated with hypersensitive on drugs will go away? I don't ask about time to this reaction go away, I know it's impossible to reply on it. Will my adverse reaction will last as long as I will get drug in similar dosage or go away?

I'm afraid about my dosage because this dosage has caused that I can't normally functioning and on the site is wriitten that to large dose could cause adverse reaction, and I missed that. I've had waves and windows when I've been taking every 6 days after withdrawal, but now is worse and worse after starting 2.5mg dose, it suggest that it's to high dose and I feel that I haven't escape from my situation.  Now I have strong symptoms that haven't occured earlier or they were weaker.

I know that I made huge fault with dosage. Everything indicates on hypersensitive on the drug.

I know that you've written about 2mg dose, but it seems that it should be likely about 0.5-1mg.

People do recover from withdrawal syndrome, David.

As I've written many times, it takes at least 4 days for your body to register a dosage change. After 2 days, it is still getting used to a lower dosage.

I know that people recover from withdrawal syndrome, but I stressed that I meant hypersensitivity symptoms. On the site is stressed that in this case it is necessary do reduce or stop taking.  I'm worried  because of extending and reinforcement my symptoms which caused that anything around it happened to me indifferent and uninteresting. Additionally this drug was complete mistake for me and until today I don't know why I started to take it.

Simply I don't see anywhere cases of so wrong reinstatement as in my case and I don't have answers on perspective of my case.

Generally, I probably will have to come back to 2.5mg because of inaccuracy dissolution in water. Cutting pills with a pill cutter is also inaccuracy because of ellipsoidal shape of pill, I don't know what to do with this issue.

Maybe problem is that i use only amount of a pill for two doses. How long can i store at least liquid with Escitalopram in a transparent package in a fridge ?

Next mistake was to reinstate 1.9 mg instead of start from lower doses because doses from drug stored in refrigarator were disturbed.

2021/07/01 -2021/07/14 - 0.3 - 0.12mg
2021/07/15 - 2021/07/19 - 0.12 - 0.01mg - still I feel too high dose effects, some withdrawal symptoms like dizziness, but they let go and more and more too high dose effects, therfore I go down with dose
