Rabe
@manymoretodays Hi MMT, I missed some of your posts...I apologize. UGH! All over the place most often. I am about 2 weeks into the 8.25 and things are up and down...each day is unpredictable as is each moment. Things can change quickly...but things are ok. I am trying to manage the food issues as well. That is up and down but generally some better I think? Thak you for all your information and links...I truly appreciate it ALL! I did get the next drop of 8.25 as you said so that I could start it and will do the same for the 8.0. Trying to decide whether to start that one or wait til my sone comes Oct. 15 for a week. Haven't seen him in so long!! SO hoping I have some good moments with hime. My daughter is pregnant again which is exciting but also makes me sad as I feel so useless to her. But who knows where things will be by then. I dropped to 8.25 on the 29th....so next drop would be end Seot or beginning Oct unless I wait until my son and his wife come and go...it is important to me. Could I send you some symptom journals? Curious about what thoughts are. Thank you again !! Hope things are ok with you MMT? 💜 -Nardil 1976 < year, stopped. React to AD's. Klonopin .5BID 1990, 2.5mg til 2016 -Klonopin doubled Jan '16. Moderator Emeritus manymoretodays Posted September 13, 2019 Moderator Emeritus Share Posted September 13, 2019 (edited) Hi Rabe, Yes, of course you may post some symptom journals for me to see. Add your drugs, doses, and timing of those in there too please. Ahhh, you are not useless. It can take awhile to adjust to aging, and be able to do all that with integrity and wisdom, I've found. Not that I am feeling old today. I am, a woman, of a certain age.😻 And then, there is this stuff all thrown in......the drugs, WD. Not always easy. I've been reading some great stuff lately, or finding great stuff to read........that just helps me so much. Some fiction, some poetry, some non-fiction. And am doing pretty A-okay. Feeling the season shift, and sometimes I wish I was back in school, everytime Fall comes around. I don't want to go back to school though.......I mean in that big time, doctorate way. I don't really think academia was my thing. Just always a bit restless around Fall. Yah, so give me one of those at things, when you post some journals. I'm seeing most of your posts too.......I just don't always have anything to add to the other replies. Excited about your newest grandbaby.....to come, and have a nice visit with your son too! I am so enjoying my SUN(son) and the time we spend together. We did festivals in the City last weekend and ate! He's got his own life and friends now. I've had to relive the whole "empty nest" thing, as well as many other events in my life, post meds/drugs. It's all good though. I'm good. Happy. Busy with life. ❤️ Love, peace, healing, and growth, mmt Edited September 13, 2019 by manymoretodays Late 2023- gone to emeritus status, inactive, don't @ me, I can check who I've posted on, and I'm not really here like I used to be......thanks. Rabe
@Roseta @wantrelief @Carmie @FarmGirlWorks @Hibari @neroli Wanted to send my love to everyone. Things have been interesting if nothing else. My computer and phone with crashed. My daughter had a miscarriage, I have had lots of allergy issues, stomach issues,, and then got a really bad sinus infection that is still lingering. And my son and his wife came to my daughters just when i was at the height of the sinus infection. I didnt see them as much as I wanted, but did get to the zoo one day with everyone and over for part of another day as well...so very grateful in spite of everything. My daughter is going to let me use her computer a bit on and off until I can manage to get another. I postponed my next Viibryd drop, which would have been a couple weeks ago I think...lost track of time in all this....until things were more stable overall. Glad that I did cause still not feeling the greatest. My CFS also seems to have returned with all this so have been in bed more which is fine but trying to eat and do that made reflux worse which then seems to make electrolytes and allergies worse...like dominos but not as much fun. Still I am grateful to be getting better. I started Claritin 1/2 tablet which has helped and just started a sip of a melted carafate in the morning to coat my esophagus at least as had been bringing up blood with all the nasal drainage and just phlegm from the throat irritation. Not wanting to take more meds but do feel some better. Will be dropping ht Viibryd in a few days which I am not looking forward to only because I feel so compromised as it is right now...but I dont have any other capsules and do have the 8.0 so am going to go for it and hope for the best. I have thought about everyone here everyday and have held you all in my heart and praters. Rosetta, I hope you had a wonderful trip and that things have settled for you now. Carmie, I hope you are feeling better and things are better overall in your life...I know there has been stress there. Wantrelief, I hope that your tapering is going well and that you are doing ok. Hibari, I hope your tapering is going ok and that you are feeling ok about your progress and need to stop and rest sometimes..take care of you! Neroli, I hope that you work situation is resolving somehow and that your legs and you are feeling better. Thank you so much for your thoughts WR...yes we are in the same boat, bobbing around on these waves and all. I did drop the Viibryd again about a week ago and so far it has not been awful...not sure what standard to set at this point. Hard to have a comparison, you know? Just grateful to get groceries, eat, sleep, and see family occasionally. How are you going? Wrote to you Hibari...hope things are going well! Hi FGW...yes...the slow and steady is ok. I dont like holding longer but I do find that sometimes i just have too, and the times I dont listen to that I really pay for it. I week or two is a grain of sand on the beach or this tapering process. How are things with you FGW? Rosetta, thank you. Things have settled. There are fewer tears from my daughter and she hopes to be able to try again soon. Such kind thoughts!! I have dropped to 8.0 of the Viibryd. Slow but sure. Rabe
The 1/2 Claritin has seemed to help my food reactions overall. I took some of the Carafate twice a day and then stopped it but started with 1/2 just at NOC after I had quite bit blood from throat on the 18th. It has helped that a lot...seems to have healed as no blood couple days or so after started. SO will continue to with just that much at night. Not happy to have added meds as I know everything competes but keeping them to the least amount to keep things stable so that I can move on with my taper. Feels good to be at 8.0. The doctor wants to see my at 6 os so he said, but I am not going to stay on a compounded capsule and dont know if could stop at 5mg for a bit by cutting a 10 in half and while doing that adjust the Clonazepam. That would be helpful I think. Just grateful to be able to taper again. Was VERY grateful to have battled the sinus with normal saline nasal spray, humidity, rest and more rest...and NO drugs or antibiotics!! One day and one step at a time. Still up and down daily but at least moving forward again!! I think its forward?🤔🤪 -Nardil 1976 < year, stopped. React to AD's. Klonopin .5BID 1990, 2.5mg til 2016 -Klonopin doubled Jan '16. Rosetta
I'm so happy to hear you are feeling a bit better! That you felt you could taper is wondeful. I miss you. We are moving tomorrow and we won't have internet at home for 2 months. So, I won't be posting. I'm doing ok at the moment. It's still very up and down, but the bad nights are not 'horrible' right now. I am having hot flashes and night sweats every night -- sometimes 3 per nights. The days are very manageable. The nights are emotionally miserable. Rabe
Have tried to catch up here. Life has settled down a bit...as much as it can right now I guess. I am seeing my therapist and really truly realizing the impact of trauma on my body and how it reacts. I find the Claritin to help some but still struggle with food. Waiting on the SIBO test. I will be dropping again soon to 7.75mg of the Viibryd. Grateful to be soon under 8mg..that was the doctors first goal. It is not fun...everyday is a challenge...every day and every part of everyday are different. I never know what will come but am trying my best to live with the knowledge of that. I dont like essentially tasing out with the CLonazepam at night but that is the way it is right now...not sure why. Didnt used to be that way. The I find it really hard to get going in the mornings. Would be content to just rest in bed all day. I find that anything the stressed my system is too much, but I cant just lie in bed all day. A walk, eating, meds, a bath, emotions, trying to exercise a bit...it all is way too much many days which I find so frustrating because the less I do the stiffer my seizing muscles are, especially my lower back. Not sure what to do about that. Some yoga seems to help and some breathing, calm place, grounding and opposite to emotion have helped some. A long journey that I have no idea how or where or when will lead. Just trying to accept and keep doing the best I can which most days is not enough. But give all I have and thats all I have. Love and hugs to everyone. Trying to keep moving forward. Yesterday was a pretty bad day, today has been better, gratefully. Ill take that. 💜 If anyone has any thoughts on the lower back BAD pain I sure would appreciate it. -Nardil 1976 < year, stopped. React to AD's. Rabe
Im wondering if I could please get some help with the latest issue that has come up. The doctor actually called yesterday with the results of my SIBO test and it shows levels of over 1o5 when should be less than 20. The suggested treatment is xifaxan antibiotic? I historically dont do well with ABs. I called the compounding px and another tx is low dose naltrexone I guess/ I am wondering if any of the moderators have thoughts on this and/or it anyone has had SIBO and has thoughts on this. Also, was going to drop the Viibryd in 3 days but am thinking should I hold at 8 if am going to be starting to treat this other issue? IM FEELING OVERWHELMED BY LIFE! Rabe
@bubbles Hi! My therapist does general therapy, trauma work, EMDR therapy, light therapy which is like acupuncture but with lights. She got me a special wand that is less intense than the lights she has and it has seemed to help some I think. I have it with me and use it every other day for now and will see how it goes. She has been very good...once I was able to get over my fear that consumed me from the treatment center and then the doctor who slapped me back in their hospital and did the rapid taper. I was trusting no one. But I do trust her now and that makes all the difference. Hope you are doing well Bubbles!! Thanks for dropping by! Hope things are going ok for you...yes?? 💜 -Nardil 1976 < year, stopped. React to AD's. Klonopin .5BID 1990, 2.5mg til 2016 -Klonopin doubled Jan '16. Taper to 2.25mg May to Nov '16. Rabe
@wantrelief Thank you so much for stopping by WR! I am putting my drop on hold for now until I hear more from the doctor about the SIBO and the other doctor about it as well. I am glad to know about it I guess but not looking forward to treating it. We will see. I was feeling a momentum with the taper and am a bit undone by all this other. But if getting help with it can help the sensitivities etc it would be worth it i hope!! How are you WR? Is the tapering going ok? I will pop over to your thread and catch up. Think of you so much!! Take care of you! Love and hugs to you my friend! Thank you again!!💜 -Nardil 1976 < year, stopped. Rabe
@Altostrata I wanted to say that I also have noticed as the day goes on and I get farther and farther away from my night Clonaz dose, my GI and allergy symptoms get worse...and then improve when take it again, especially night dose. Other seems to make me more nervous at first. But could be that as I eat things they just make things worse as well....but the Clonaz does seem to help it all settle for what thats worth.
