How exactly do you store it? You need a dark/amber glass container, to prevent the influence of light. Also no plastic.

Thanks 🥰

I've been feeling better the last 4 days so I'm feeling hopeful .
I had a consult with Mark Horowitz  and his advised me to hold for  a few months and then continue tapering of the Seroquel, then when I feel like everything is going okay  start the Paxil taper again .

This is going to be a long journey for me .

Hey Thorin,

Thanks for checking in on me . Yeah everything is 90% better now. I've been pretty much back to normal the last week. I feel so grateful to have gotten out of that bad 6 week patch . I really though I was permanently doomed.
I'm going to hold for a few months to let things settle down , even though I dont want too , I know I need to . I'm going on a trip to Europe in 6 weeks and I want to enjoy myself .
I will restart  my taper when I get back

but will lower the percentage on both drugs .

Great news and I hope it gives you confidence for the future. We heal. It's just a slow, inhumane process but eventually we'll be ok.

Hey everyone ,

well I've been really struggling as of late , I thought I would stablise now since holding my taper for a few months . It's been good days and weeks then bad . All over the place but the last week and a half it just hasn't let up and it's brought me to panic .
I try to accept this is the process of my brain adjusting to the new dose but this fear has really taken its toll . I just need reassurance that this is the windows and waves pattern and it's normal .
Sorry just feeling sad tonight .

I’m not saying this will happen to you, but it took me 10 months to stabilise after a doctor messed me up with the latuda. I was a mess right up until the few weeks before I stabilised. My point is that just because it’s intense now doesn’t mean you won’t be ok in a week or two. Hang on. You’re healing and things will get better.

I'm so thankful for your reply , I just doubt everything when I'm in a  wave . I really try to be optimistic and accept this process but this week I've felt beaten up .
I've been here before so many dam times 😞

I’m just someone going through my own version of what you’re going through. We heal. It takes time. And we can’t always see it happening while it’s happening. It’s the hardest thing we’ll ever do. You’re so much further along your journey than when we first met on here. You’re doing it!

Hi! It took me 16 weeks to stabilize at my current dose. (March until July) And I felt HORRENDOUS on and off right up until the day I stabilized. It was like a light switch. Waves and windows are normal. And it’s also not you, rather your hijacked brain telling you that you’ll never stabilize. You will. And you can’t do anything to stop it! It’ll happen.

Sertraline 25 mg (Jan 2016)
50 mg (Feb 2016) Down to 25 mg for second pregnancy (2019) 75 mg due to PPA (Sept 2019) Down to 25 mg for third pregnancy (2020) 50-> 75 mg ->100 mg (Jan 2023) Felt good for long while so reduced to 75 (Nov 2023). Back up to 100 after some symptoms of anxiety (Dec 2023) 125 (Dec 2023) didn’t help so->150 mg (Feb 2024) Horrible adverse reaction to 150/kindled
Doc suggested lowering Sert and add Buspar. Started 2.5 mg 3x per day same day at going down to 100 mg Sert.

March- CT’d buspar and dropped down to 87 mg Sert.
Intermittent .25 or .50 Xanax use. Like once a week. Haven’t taken it since April 2024.
Found SA, stopped the madness.
(April 2024) hold at 87 mg -micro tapered a few mg over 1-2 months but should’ve held longer after stabilizing at 87

(8.31.24) 84.6 mg • (9.22.24) 83.9 mg accidental small drop due to scale malfunction; plan to hold here for at least a month.

(Current: Natural Calm: 50-100 mg per day in water, 0.5 mg melatonin nightly)

Okay advice needed.
Im really struggling with these symptoms the last week , its like I've gone backwards and feels like I'm heading for a nervous breakdown . I'm suppose to go to Europe this Sunday that I've been planning for years and I don't know if I should go now . I will be away for a month with my sister , no kids or husband so it will be less stressful but I'm scared to go if I'm not feeling myself .
Anybody got any  suggestions ?

Is it a slow, leisurely trip or completely packed out with activities? Will your sister be supportive? Do you feel that you would be ok if you went? Do you need to be 100% to do it or can you do it at less than 100% capacity?

It sounds like you could make the trip during a window or when having lighter days but I would make the decision on what you’re capable of doing during a wave. If you believe that kind of travel is unbearable during a wave it might be best to postpone. If you think you could ride out a wave while traveling then go for it.  It’s so hard to give good advice for this situation since everyone is at different levels of withdrawal. You’re a very strong person and have been dealing with withdrawal for a long time so I’m sure you’ll make the best decision. Just remember to be selfish when deciding because it’s all about you recovering and healing .

My sister will be supportive and it won't be a leisurely trip. A lot of walking . Four countries in four weeks .  I really won't to go but I feel I don't even feel up to going to work at the moment. I don't know 😞. If I just could get a window , I could make a good decision

Take care

Thanks @Willy, if only we know how we're going to feel . At the moment it can change by hour.
I still can't believe this is happening and there's nothing to do about it .
